Community Ambassadors Program Launches September 26

August 31, 2015 |

Mountain Park Health Center’s Community Ambassadors Program is an initiative to support, connect and engage the communities we serve through volunteerism. We’ve partnered with several non-profit agencies; school districts and municipalities serving our communities and will be providing our staff opportunities to volunteer directly with these partners.

The Community Ambassadors Program launched on September 26th, 2015. About 30 Mountain Park employees volunteered at UMOM’s Walk for Homeless Families at The Phoenix Zoo. This 5k event supported UMOM, an agency just down the road from our Gateway clinic that provides housing and supportive services to families living in Phoenix. Mountain Park’s Community Ambassadors assisted with a variety of tasks at the walk, including working in the food and coffee tent, passing out water to walkers and helping supervise activities in the Kids’ Zone.

We are thrilled to have launched our Community Ambassadors Program with our partner UMOM, an agency that provides much needed services to our community. For more information, please email info@mphc-az.org
