When I was younger I wanted to be a teacher. I have 2 younger brothers, and as their older sister I’d help them with their homework and be a role model. I really enjoyed teaching and tutoring. One part of my decision to go into healthcare is that growing up, both of my parents were unemployed. We didn’t have medical insurance, and seeking healthcare was hard. When you’re in that position, you just wait. I decided to go into healthcare to change that. Mountain Park gives me the chance to work in primary healthcare. Catching diseases before they progress and helping people understand their healthcare needs is very important to me.

I’m really close with my brothers, but they and my entire family, including my pug, are in California. I just adopted a dog, though. During my free time, I like to travel and play sports like tennis and volleyball. My boyfriend and I are pretty active, we travel a lot, and we like to explore places, parks, cultures, and food. Most people wouldn’t guess that I’ve gone sky diving and bungee jumping, once – in Croatia! It was scary, but not too bad.
