I’m originally from Caledonia, Minnesota. When I was little, I wanted to be a teacher to follow in my mom’s footsteps. However, in high school, I took a job as a CNA because l loved working with people in healthcare. I decided to go into nutrition because I believe food is healing. I want to help people not only feel better with a healthy diet but prevent numerous diet-related health conditions. The integrated health system is what attracted me to Mountain Park. I really enjoy getting chance to be a part of a whole care team.

My whole family lives in the mid-west, on the family farm – the same farm my dad grew up on. I come from a family of hunters. They all deer hunt, providing the family with venison meat for the whole year. In my free time, I love finding new restaurants with friends and trying new foods. I also enjoy hiking and boxing for a great workout! Two of my favorite TV shows are The Andy Griffith Show and I Love Lucy.
