As cliché as it sounds, I have always wanted to help people. I began working as a real estate agent but transitioned into healthcare and have been in this career for a long time. If you think about it, with both careers you have to identify people’s needs and help them meet those needs. My favorite thing about working in healthcare is educating people and helping them stay proactive before problems occur.
I came to Mountain Park because I really like the philosophy of the organization and how open we are to all members of our community. There are a lot of opportunities to help change people’s health.
I have two sons, Johnathan and Bill, and a cat named Nibbles. In my free time I travel to Northern Arizona to spend time in our cabin. I am a beekeeper and have two hives on our property right outside of Show Low. I also enjoy astronomy and I have a couple telescopes. Our cabin is in what’s considered a dark field up north so I get to enjoy that hobby up there as well.
