Helping people get better is what made me decide to work in healthcare. Mountain Park is unique because everybody works together as a team and truly cares about one another. Mountain Park Health Center provides many opportunities to coach each other to be the best you can be. I like to help others by educating patients to make wise decisions about their health. As a healthcare professional, it’s important to listen to your patients and empower them to explain to you what’s happening in their lives. By simply listening, you can support them to make better choices.
I’ve been married for 34 years to Bruce. We moved from Cleveland, Ohio to enjoy the warm weather. I have two grown children, Robert and Brandy. My son is married and lives in Ohio. and my daughter lives in Arizona. I have a 14-year-old kitty named Screech. My hobbies are reading, baking and walking. I volunteer at my church every second Saturday with a pancake breakfast at a local family shelter.
If I was not working in healthcare I would be working at a rescue animal shelter. I love animals!
