My partner and I relocated from Maine in September 2017. I have always loved sunshine so when he was promoted we jumped on the opportunity to move to Arizona. We live in New River, a place that I like to call my own vacation home because it’s far away from everything. When I’m not working I like to relax by the pool.
I have a strong belief in social justice and have been in this field for 24 years. Working at Mountain Park really allows me to see many different people and solve lots of problems under one roof. I love the diversity and am always learning new things. Working in an integrated environment reminds me that as a provider we don’t know everything, and a lot of things we learn come from our patients themselves.
Patients can expect for me to listen and really tune into what’s happening in their lives. I believe that with collaboration and honesty there is a solution that will work for them.
If I weren’t working, I would volunteer my time in a prison system. A lot of people are unnecessarily incarcerated and many of them are lonely, in need of a person to talk to and brighten their day.
