Although I was born in Dallas, TX, I spent nearly my entire life in Arizona. I have an eight-year-old son who is the light of my life, and the majority of my wonderful family live nearby. I also have a Great Dane named Nala.
I’ve wanted to help people all my life, which is why I went into nursing. I’ve worked in a few different places, but have always been drawn to Community Health Centers. I love the comprehensive care offered here at Mountain Park, and feel we actually look at every patient as a whole person. We’re meeting an important need in our community, and I love our patients.
When I’m not at work I love reading, hiking, camping and traveling. One of my favorite recent trips was to Peru, a country rich with history, culture and warm people. I made a number of good friends while on that trip that I still keep in touch with. I’ve also rafted the Colorado River and hiked Lake Havasupai and the Grand Canyon.
I have a genuine interest in people, and truly believe that we each belong to each other.
