My focus throughout my life and career has always been health and bridging the gap that exists in healthcare. Prevention, as well as treatment, play vital roles in our wellbeing. I believe prevention is the key to reducing health inequality in our community. I knew I found my calling in pharmacy when I witnessed the powerful and life changing effects medication could have on people. Mountain Park’s integrated care model and the relationships that are built with patients are truly inspiring. I believe that a pharmacist is an essential component of this healthcare model, and being able to build and add to these relationships is why I came to Mountain Park. I moved to Phoenix several years ago from a smaller community in Iowa, where it felt as if everyone knew each other. That same sense of community and familiarity drew me to Mountain Park.

My husband and I have four children, one of whom is a toddler, and keeps us very active. We enjoy spending time with our family and friends and going home to Iowa as often as possible. I don’t really have much free time, but when I do I like to shop, read and spend time in my backyard.
