I grew up in an urban neighborhood in Oklahoma City. As a child I wanted to be both a doctor and a pilot – a flying doctor. It’s the mystery of medicine paired with being able to help people that really kept me interested in pursuing a career in healthcare. When I was 19 I was selected to take part in a month-long immersion program in Africa where I was lucky enough to assist with the delivery of a baby. I have always had a passion for working with kids, but this experience really solidified wanting to become a pediatrician.

I love Mountain Park because I feel I have the ability to relate to many of our patients. I grew up living in the inner-city like many of our patients. I feel like we’ve had similar life experiences.

In my free time I like to hang out with my three kids. We like to get outside and hike and are looking forward to exploring all that Arizona has to offer.
