I grew up in Flagstaff and though I have lived in many places, I’ve always considered Arizona my home. As a child, I had a horse and wanted to be a veterinarian because I love animals. I have two Jack Russell Terriers and am getting certified in animal-assisted therapy.
I decided to get into the medical field because I want to help people with health problems regain their sense of wellbeing. Mountain Park is special because here we treat the whole person. We see them for who they are, not just because they are sick or fighting an illness.
Outside of working, I enjoy spending time with family. I love hiking, painting, and yoga. Something that most people don’t know about me is that I spent several months in East Africa on an internship. During my time there I contracted Malaria and it gave me an appreciation for medical advances in healthcare we have here.
