I grew up in Orange County, CA and Sheridan, WY. I married my high school sweetheart and we have two children ages 16 and 2, as well as a miniature pinscher named Kevin. As a child I wanted to either be an Olympic Track & Field athlete or a nurse. The dream of competing in the Olympics brought me to the University of Wyoming where I won an NCAA title in the 400m hurdles and later pursued a professional Track & Field career.
My interest in nursing began during my pregnancy with my first child. I was a young mother and had many positive interactions with the nurses and nurse practitioners. I remember getting very compassionate and nonjudgmental care during this time, which is something I strive to do with all my patients today. I was introduced to Mountain Park as I completed my clinical rotations here. I am happy to be part of the Mountain Park team because I like that we provide integrated services as well as that added personal touch to provide great care to the communities we serve.
When I am not at the clinic you can find me spending time with my family visiting local museums, going to the movies or cheering on my son at his sporting events. I have a dream of one day purchasing and redesigning a mid-century ranch house with my husband.
