I grew up in Santa Fe, New Mexico in a family of six kids.  My father was a Brigadier General in the U.S. Army while my mother was a stay-at-home mom and the backbone of our family.  My parents instilled a love of learning in us kids, in fact, four of my six siblings have gone on to complete their master’s degrees.  I was also very active in sports and went on to play softball my first two years of college.

As a child I knew I wanted to go into healthcare.  I had always planned to work in a private practice but, working at Mountain Park is definitely a better fit for me.  I love working here, it allows me to do so many things a private practice would not, like patient outreach and teaching patients about public health.

When I’m not at work I love to cook, run, workout, and mountain bike.  I also spend some of my free time as a volunteer leader with HandsOn Greater Phoenix.  I love to sing karaoke, especially my go-to song, Gloria Gaynor’s “I will Survive.”  In my remaining free time, my partner and I run a turquoise lapidary shop out of our home.
