I moved to Arizona from Peoria, Illinois in April 2018 to help take care of my mom. Arizona is definitely different than my hometown, but I am learning to appreciate it. I am excited to be able to explore a little more, now that my mom is on the mend.

I didn’t immediately know I wanted to go into healthcare and played with a few different career fields. I have always had an interest in biology. During my time at Bradley University, I took intro to psychology and learned that it came naturally to me, so I decided to pursue it.

When I first started school there wasn’t a whole lot of integration between physical and mental health. I loved seeing the two fields coming together and knew that was the future. I really appreciate Mountain Park’s integrated healthcare model. Here patients can receive treatment for their body and mind all in the same place.

I want my patients to see me as someone who will help them facilitate their needs after they’ve seen their primary care physician. I’m here to help them pick the right direction for their mental health care needs and fill in the gaps.
