I began my journey in healthcare because I wanted to serve the public. I started as a firefighter and paramedic in the Valley which taught me how to take care of patients in their most critical time of need. I transitioned to being a registered nurse and then a nurse practitioner so I could spend more quality time with my patients and learn about their diseases, educate, and take care of them as a whole.
I started at Mountain Park Health Center as a student and witnessed first-hand how well providers and staff took care of their patients, and the variety of different resources they provide to the community. Mountain Park’s commitment to a diverse integrated team approach that puts patients at the center of their care is what brought me back as a provider. I am fortunate to be able to work with this community and to be a part of this team.
When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my wife and our two children. Some of my favorite activities revolve around water including scuba diving, swimming, and water parks. I enjoy date nights with my wife, traveling, concerts, watching movies, and always spending time with my children.
