Before getting started in healthcare, I worked as a teacher. I taught third grade for two years and then decided to go to pharmacy school. I did a rotation at Mountain Park while I was in school and I really liked the integrated healthcare model here.
I believe in empowering patients to get the information and help they need. I really enjoy educating my patients and I always try to meet them where they are. I think it is very important to ask questions and I’m never afraid to ask my colleagues for help when I need it.
I maintain my work/life balance by practicing diligence scheduling things I enjoy. Fitness is very important to me, so I have been going to cycle and pilates classes. I also enjoy going out to new restaurants with my friends.
