Education: University of California-San Diego, Skaggs School of Pharmacy
My parents were immigrants. When they came to the United States, they had some difficulty navigating the healthcare system, so I always kind of had the idea in my head that I might go into healthcare to make that transition easier for other people. When I was in college, I realized there were pharmacies on everywhere I go and I thought it would be a good place to help patients understand their disease states and navigate the healthcare system.
I came to Mountain Park because I was impressed with the integrated healthcare model and I wanted to be a part of the care teams that help our patients achieve their health goals. When patients meet with me, they can expect open, honest communication and that I will truly listen.
If I weren't a pharmacist, I would want to be a chef or a costume designer- some of my recent costume creations include Zelda and the Officer Hops from Zootopia.
