There was never a question about working in healthcare for me. It was always that thing I was going to do. I’ve been around the medical field since I was 12, going to work with my mom and volunteering. I started working as a certified nursing assistant when I was in high school.
I first experienced Mountain Park when I was a student and I loved it then so coming to work here was a no brainer. The staff really goes above and beyond for our patients. With all our integrated services and other resources, we’re so much more than just a healthcare facility.
My patients will find that I am extremely thorough. I take time to listen to their past medical history as well as their current situation and then make sure they fully understand whatever conditions they may have and how we’re treating them. I believe patient education is so important and Mountain Park gives us the time and support to do it. We’re treating the whole person, not just the disease.
If I wasn’t taking care of people in healthcare, I’d be taking care of animals as a veterinarian. I love animals and do a lot of volunteer work. I also like to spend my free time enjoying my family.
