Oftentimes, people know what they want to be when they grow up. I was never one of those people. During my time in college I decided to follow my two aunts’ paths and become a doctor. Hearing them talk about how they were able to touch peoples’ lives inspired me to take this career path.
I moved to the U.S. with my husband in 2007 and obtained my residency. Because I was trained in a community hospital and enjoyed aiding patients from all walks of life, Mountain Park felt like the right fit for me.
As a mom of three kids seven and under, I rarely have time for me, but when I do find a minute I love a good book.
Being from a lower-mid class, I have learned to have empathy for my patients. It’s important to be able to relate to people and show compassion, no matter what background they come from.
