Mount Sinai Medical Center
Growing up my father knew I wanted to be a doctor long before I did, but the truth is, the idea of becoming a physician was ingrained within me from an early age. The main driving force came from my grandmother when she was diagnosed with cancer and the entire family went through a whirlwind of emotions.
I was born and raised in Nepal. I come from a country where medicine is a great service and having worked in community centers and regional hospitals, Mountain Park has been an ideal place for me. I treat patients like my own family. As a pediatrician I love seeing how quickly kids can recover and the instant joy we bring to families. That is what keeps me motivated.
Besides work, I like to spend time with family and friends. I also enjoy traveling, hiking, reading and cooking.
