Education: University of Panama
From a young age, I always knew what I liked and that was science and serving people. I stuck with that and ended up getting a full ride scholarship to the University of Panama Medical School. I owned my own practice for almost 30 years and I decided I wanted to spend my last years working in community health. That’s why I came to Mountain Park.
I look at my patients as a whole. If someone comes in with an earache, I’ll look at their ear but I also want to know about their day and how school is going. There are so many factors that impact a person’s health. I love all ages, but I especially enjoy working with adolescents because they are finding themselves and deciding what type of adult they want to be and it’s an exciting time in their lives.
When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my family including my grandson. I also love gardening and being outdoors.
