Growing up I always wanted to help those around me. Moving to the USA 20 years ago, I had the opportunity to volunteer at a children’s hospital. During this experience, I decided to become a nurse in pediatrics.

I earned my RN degree from the University of North Georgia in 2010 and my master’s degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2019. I was certified as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner- Primary Care in 2019 by the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board. Before joining Mountain Park Health Center, I worked at GPOW in Georgia as a Nurse Practitioner. Before that, I worked at the Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Scottish Rite emergency department for eight years.

I am fluent in Spanish, and this has allowed me to help my patients navigate some barriers due to language. In my free time I enjoy trying new restaurants with my husband and daughter.
