Growing up I always wanted to be a baseball player. When I was 16, I suffered from a lower back injury and after going through the physical therapy rehab process I thought this may be a future career path for me.
At Mountain Park, patient care is the top priority so having the opportunity to open our Physical Therapy Department, something I have done before elsewhere, was an exciting challenge I wanted to take on.
When a patient has an appointment with me, they can expect individualized one-on-one care with a treatment plan tailored just for them. Patients will find that I will listen to their unique needs and then educate them on what’s going on and what they will be doing to also help with their recovery. Due to my own back injuries over the years, I also use the advice I give to my patients.
When I’m not at work, I enjoy woodworking, being outdoors and spending time with my friends and family. If I wasn’t working in healthcare, I’d be a novelist – probably with writer’s block!
