My father’s heart transplant journey introduced me to the impact nurses can make, and those experiences led me to pursue nursing. Working as an ER nurse strengthened my passion for community health and opened my eyes to the disparities many people face. That’s what brought me to Mountain Park—having so many resources under one roof allows us to truly support our patients.

During appointments, I focus on open, honest communication and involving patients in their care. I want them to feel supported, identify barriers early, and build a trusting partnership. I’ve learned that care is often a long-term process, not something fixed in a single visit. I strive to create a respectful, welcoming environment by staying open‑minded, curious, and nonjudgmental.

If I weren’t in healthcare, I’d probably be rescuing animals. I have a huge soft spot for them, and we share our home with a pitbull and a boxer mix!
