I was raised by a single mom who went back to nursing school as a second career. Her dedication inspired me to follow a similar path. I chose to work in primary care because it allows me to build relationships and provide compassionate, life-long care to patients of all ages and backgrounds.

The most important lesson I’ve learned working in healthcare is that it’s about more than medicine – it’s about connection. To me, healthcare is about building trust and walking alongside my patients through their challenges and milestones.

If I weren’t working in healthcare, I’d likely go to culinary school and open my own bakery. I love going on morning and evening walks, hiking, biking, weightlifting, cooking meals at home, and prioritizing connection with my family and friends.
