I was born on the Navajo Nation and moved to the Valley to pursue my education at Grand Canyon University. I’ve always enjoyed working in healthcare and being able to take care of the community. My experience on the reservation made me aware of exactly how important it is to provide medical care to all, but especially to underserved communities. I feel that working in the medical field is a way to give back to the community.

I’m a Family Nurse Practitioner at our Gateway Clinic. I see Mountain Park as a natural fit for my career and for being able to serve the community. I want my patients to know that I am truly there for them and their healthcare needs, as well as the rest of the Mountain Park team. Patients can be assured that they are in a judgement-free environment and that we are all active listeners to the needs of the patient. We are all here to find the best possible medical solution.

Diversity should be a part of the workplace because that is what makes up the healthcare field. Patients and providers from all kinds of backgrounds, races, and ethnicities make for a rich and diverse profession. Acknowledging every patient as their own individual and treating them as such makes for a positive and welcoming environment.

When not at the clinic, I like to spend time with family and love a good movie night. I love healthy food and lots of walking. When I was younger, I ran numerous marathons while living in Australia, so I’ve always been an active person.
