Deciding to work in healthcare was an easy choice for me because it combines my passion for learning with the opportunity to improve community health and build meaningful relationships. The dynamic nature of medicine and the chance to connect with people make this career incredibly fulfilling. I find great joy in continuously expanding my knowledge while making a tangible difference in people’s lives.
Mountain Park Health Center drew me in with its commitment to health equity and comprehensive patient care. I was inspired by the center’s mission to provide high-quality healthcare to all individuals, regardless of their background. Being part of such a dedicated team allows me to contribute to this important mission and have a positive impact on my community. In my appointments, I strive to create a supportive and safe environment where patients feel heard and valued, empowering them to make informed health decisions.
I believe in the importance of diversity in the workplace and that everyone deserves to feel respected and valued. Incorporating wellness into my life is crucial, and I achieve this through consistency. I make it a point to roll out my yoga mat every day, even if it’s just for a quick stretch or a full hour of practice. This daily ritual helps me stay grounded and maintain a balanced lifestyle. When I’m not working, I enjoy teaching my dog new tricks, which is both fun and rewarding.
