I decided to pursue a career in healthcare because I appreciate the opportunity to help people and have always been passionate about giving back to my community. Here at Mountain Park, an abundance of resources are readily available to support our patients, as well, such as on-site Registered Dieticians, a Behavioral Health team, and multi-lingual staff members. I value that each of these care providers facilitates our integrative care approach and aids in cultivating long-term, trusting relationships with patients.

As a provider, I aim to partner with my patients and empower them to identify and achieve their personal health goals. I care about each patient as a whole person and want to be fully present in listening to their needs and understanding their concerns. I also speak Spanish fluently and feel fortunate to be able to connect with many patients in their preferred language.

Fun fact about me — Between the anticipation of what might be waiting for me in the mailbox each day to the nostalgia inspired by a handwritten letter or postcard, I love getting mail. It’s those little things that make me smile. If I weren’t working in healthcare, I would be a postal carrier in a small town, hopefully delivering a few handwritten letters, fewer bills, and more smiles.
