Both of my parents are nurses, so I grew up very curious about medicine and health. I always knew I wanted to work in the medical field. When I finished my nursing degree, I knew that I wanted to further my education and become a Nurse Practitioner.

Mountain Park attracted me because it serves the whole community and because of its unique integrated health model. I love taking care of my patients and being an advocate when it’s needed. I enjoy getting to know my patients because I strongly believe that learning about their life contributes to their overall wellbeing.

It seems like my entire family is in the medical field. My husband is also a nurse, so when we get together all we talk about is medical stuff.

My husband and I have a 4-year-old black lab named Iris. During my free time, I love hiking, reading historical fiction books, and going to the theater to see plays. Also, I used to play the violin, so I enjoy listening to classical music.

An interesting fact about me is that I was born and raised in Arizona, but I have never been to Mexico, even though it’s a hop and a skip away, but I would love to go one day.
