Growing up, my mom suffered from multiple chronic illnesses and my brother had an autoimmune disease, so I learned a lot about health and wellness from a young age. That experience is what made me want to go into healthcare. I did some clinical work at Mountain Park when I was in school and I really liked the integrated healthcare model as well as the patients and providers I got to work with.
There are so many factors that can affect a person’s health, so I like to look at every aspect of my patient’s lives. Their social lives, their family, and their work, it all plays a role in making a diagnosis and treatment plan. Having conversations with my patients is important in addressing their needs.
During my free time, I really enjoy hiking and being outdoors.
