I have always been fascinated by human behavior, even from a young age. This curiosity about why people act a certain way led me to pursue a career in healthcare, specifically in behavioral health. As I worked in integrated healthcare settings, I realized how crucial behavioral health is to a person’s overall well-being. It became clear to me that being present in these spaces, especially for patients who might not seek out behavioral health services on their own, was essential. I found great satisfaction in bringing an integrated approach to patient care, meeting them where they are, and supporting their overall health goals.

Mountain Park attracted me because it is a pioneer in perfecting the behavioral and integrated health system. I was drawn to a community that deeply understands and values the critical role of behavioral health within medical settings. Patients can expect a collaborative and nonjudgmental experience during their appointments with me. My focus is always on building a trusting relationship and working as a team to achieve their health goals. The most important lesson I have learned in healthcare is the significance of the provider-patient relationship and mutual trust.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending quality time with my family. My partner of 18 years, our almost 12-year-old son, and our 15-year-old daughter keep me busy, whether it’s enjoying Disney together or cheering on my son at his soccer games. We also value our family walks, striving for a healthy work-life balance. Additionally, I am passionate about diversity and have worked extensively with the LGBTQIA+ community. I appreciate that Mountain Park creates a welcoming environment for everyone to receive compassionate care. A fun fact about me is that I moved to the West Coast for the first time four years ago, after living my entire life on the East Coast.
