My decision to work in healthcare stems from my love for helping people achieve their nutritional goals. I am passionate about the holistic aspect of nutrition, recognizing how it can significantly impact mental well-being and overall health. The ability to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives through nutrition inspired me to pursue this career path. My approach is patient-centered, and I believe in setting small, manageable goals to avoid overwhelming patients, ensuring they feel supported every step of the way.
I was drawn to Mountain Park by the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, including women’s health, pediatrics, and teaching All Kids Can classes. The variety of patients I encounter, from internal medicine to those unfamiliar with healthcare, keeps my work engaging and fulfilling. When patients come to see me, they can expect a focus on evidence-based nutrition, incremental goals, and a collaborative approach. I aim to understand each patient’s unique situation and tailor my guidance to their specific needs.
Outside of work, I enjoy exploring and traveling, with a particular love for fitness, hiking, and outdoor activities. Spending time with family is also a priority for me. I strive to incorporate wellness into my life by staying active, cooking, and trying new recipes. An interesting fact about me is that I was born on a leap year in Savannah, GA. My upbringing, with a radiologist father and a teacher mother, instilled in me a strong desire to help others and be part of something larger than myself.
