Ever since childhood, I’ve wanted to be a nurse. I have always found this line of work very meaningful and rewarding because you care for people and are respected as healthcare professionals. I saw myself working in community health and wellness, so when I was given the opportunity to work at Mountain Park Health Center, I didn’t think twice!

The diverse workplace culture and patient community are fantastic, and I get to work with and meet many down-to-earth people. My patients can expect to have a very caring and professional experience because I will get to know them and understand their needs. Trust and respect are very important between our care team and our patients.

When you build trustworthy relationships with your coworkers and patients, you learn from one another and from everyone’s diverse cultures, values, and backgrounds. My husband is also a nurse practitioner, and we love getting to know new places and cultures. We enjoy the outdoors, hiking, camping, fishing, and traveling on our time off. We’ve visited Thailand and, South, Africa and fished in Mexico.
