I chose a career in healthcare because I wanted to make a meaningful impact in people’s lives. My grandmother was a nurse, and she often spoke about the relationships she built with her patients and the difference she was able to make through compassionate care. Her example inspired me to pursue a path where I could help others and contribute to their well-being.

What drew me to Mountain Park Health Center was its comprehensive approach to care. I love that patients can access so many different services and specialties in one place, making it easier for individuals and families to get the support they need.

When you come to see me, you can expect to be heard. I pride myself on being a good listener, paying attention to the details, and ensuring that every concern is taken seriously. I never want patients to feel dismissed, and I strive to create a space where they feel comfortable sharing what’s important to them.

One of the most valuable lessons I’ve learned in healthcare is the importance of kindness. You never know what someone may be experiencing, and a little compassion can go a long way in helping people feel supported and respected.

I believe respect begins with understanding. I enjoy learning about different cultures, backgrounds, and perspectives, and I make a conscious effort to approach others with curiosity rather than assumptions. Every person has a unique story, and I am committed to honoring those experiences in the care I provide.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband, our two children, and our dog. I also love crafting and can often be found crocheting or sewing in my free time. Staying active and connected with my family is an important part of my wellness routine, whether we’re going for walks, riding bikes, cooking together, or finding time for yoga.

As a child, I dreamed of becoming a paramedic, so it’s no surprise that I found my way into healthcare. If I weren’t working in medicine today, I’d probably be pursuing another dream of owning a coffee shop.

Fun fact: I’m the youngest of four girls, and all of our names start with the letter K!
