I chose to work in healthcare because I wanted to be in a position to help people, and I was encouraged early on, especially by my mother—to pursue this path. I was drawn to Mountain Park Health Center because it serves communities I am most familiar with and understand, and I appreciate the organization’s commitment to accessible, community-centered care.
When patients come to an appointment with me, they can expect honesty, transparency, and active listening. I strive to create a space where patients feel respected and understood. One of the most important lessons I’ve learned in healthcare is the importance of not judging people based on physical characteristics alone, and instead seeing each person as a whole.
Respect is central to how I practice, and I aim to treat every individual with dignity and care. Outside of work, I enjoy social gatherings, family vacations, attending sporting events, comedy shows, and concerts. Growing up, I wanted to be a teacher, and if I weren’t working in healthcare, I would likely be teaching.
I incorporate wellness into my own life by prioritizing self-care and taking planned vacations. A fun fact about me is that I’ve had gray hair since the age of five.
