I’ve been in healthcare for many years. Growing up, I had an aunt who was a nurse and she inspired me to get involved in healthcare. I first came to Mountain Park right after getting my degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2015.

Primary care is very rewarding. You get to build long term relationships with your patients and often I’m caring for multiple members of the same family. I really love that about working in Family Medicine.

Working in healthcare has taught me how important it is to also practice self care. There is a lot of education involved and I wouldn’t be able to teach and care for my patients if I’m not taking my own advice and caring for my own health as well.

My second passion is music. If I wasn’t in healthcare, I’d be a musician.
