When I was 16 years old, I started volunteering at my local children’s hospital and immediately fell in love with helping children and families navigate their health concerns. That experience inspired me to pursue a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree.

I know being at the doctor’s office can be scary for a lot of kids, so my goal is to make each child feel comfortable and make the experience as fun as possible. One of the most important lessons I’ve learned in healthcare is to listen to parents—I truly believe they have a “spidey sense” about their kids. Parents are my best partners when it comes to keeping children safe and healthy.

Outside of work, I love diving into the world of fantasy with a good book, exploring the outdoors, and playing with my daughter. I do my best to practice what I preach by eating well, exercising regularly, and finding balance through activities I enjoy. Fun fact: I come from a big family—I’m the oldest of eight siblings!
