I have wanted to be a nurse since I was in sixth grade. My mom was diagnosed with cancer, and I noticed all the details her nurse paid attention to and in turn knew that was something I wanted to do.

While in school I did several medical rotations at Mountain Park. I loved how patients were getting all their healthcare needs met in one visit and that I wanted to be part of that at some point after graduation.
When a patient has an appointment with me, they can expect that I will listen and provide care in an empathetic and nonjudgmental way. By empowering my patients to advocate for themselves they’re able to make more informed decisions about their healthcare.

If I weren’t working in healthcare, I’d want to have a big farm with lots of animals! When I’m not at work I enjoy taking care of my exotic houseplants, spending time with my dogs, reading and working out.
