We are thrilled to announce the return of our Jesse Owens 5K Fun Run/Walk in celebration of Black History Month on Saturday, February 10, 2024, at our Baseline Jesse Owens Clinic named after the renowned Black Olympian Jesse Owens.

Jesse Owens was not only the first American athlete to win four gold medals in a single Olympics and hold the long jump world record for 25 years, but he was also a compassionate individual with deep ties to the South Phoenix Community. A health advocate, he served on the board of Phoenix Memorial Hospital during his final years in Arizona from 1972 until his passing in 1980.

Our Jesse Owens 5K Fun Run/Walk will start with registration check-in at 8 a.m., followed by the official start at 9 a.m. on Saturday, February 10, 2024. The event will conclude in a festival filled with games, music, and community resources. Registration is absolutely FREE and includes a custom shirt and medal for the first 200 registrants.
