Ifrah is a patient at our Gateway Clinic and a member of the Somali Community. She started bringing her family to see us about two years ago after being referred by the Somali Association of Arizona. Ifrah appreciates that we are always available to help her and she loves the care and assistance she gets from Somali Case Manager, Lina Ali and her family’s provider, Nurse Practitioner Hilary Price.

Food insecurity is an ongoing public health issue within our community and across the country. When the COVID-19 pandemic hit it became even more difficult for some families to put food on the table, we challenged the ordinary and partnered with St. Mary’s Food Bank to start holding free food distributions at several of our clinics.

Doors are officially open at our Mountain Park Community Food Pantry! Thanks to a grant from Wells Fargo and our partnership with St. Mary’s Foodbank, we’re able to offer this great resource to our patients and community to help fight food insecurity.
