I spent some time in the hospital as a kid when my brother was injured. Through that experience, I developed an interest in healthcare. I love the resources we have here at Mountain Park for our patients and our employees. I know what it feels like not to have access to healthcare, so being here for the community is really fulfilling to me.
I want to connect with my patients, not only professionally, but personally. As a patient, I know healthcare can be confusing and it’s my job to help them navigate the system. My patients can expect me to listen to them. What’s important to them is important to me. I’m a mother and I work in pediatrics. I try to put myself in the parents’ shoes and care for their kids as I would want providers to care for mine.
I love reading. If I wasn’t in healthcare, I think I’d be a librarian.
