I have been interested in balanced eating since I first learned about the food pyramid in third grade. I was drawn to the different foods within each food group and thought it was amazing that someone figured out how many servings of each food group people should eat daily for their health. As I grew, I never got tired of talking about food. I love working at Mountain Park because it allows me to help a diverse group of people through nutrition. When patients first come to me, they can expect to answer questions first as I want to learn as much as I can about them before making recommendations that work for them. Nutrition is for everyone, yet is highly individualized. I love integrating humor into my practice so patients can experience a genuine moment during their care.
In my free time, I love spending time with my friends, family, my cat Furlina, and my partner of five years. He and I met at Phoenix College. I also love the internet and am a fan of memes and offbeat videos. I find videography fascinating and studied video editing after high school. Several years later, I chose to shift focus and pursue a career in nutrition, and I now find helping others highly gratifying.
