June 02, 2016 | Clinics
At our fourth Music for Medicine this May, community leaders and partners joined us for a sneak peek of our new Tempe Clinic located on the northeast corner of Broadway and McClintock.
We filled the 35,000 square-foot former Skipper Bud’s boat showroom with food and jazz, displayed architectural renderings of the new space, gave tours and discussed ways to best provide Tempe with affordable primary healthcare–in a space that is roughly four times bigger than our current clinic. City leaders, local residents, Tempe Clinic stakeholders and patients all enjoyed meeting our leadership team and learning about the design process, construction and the future of our clinic.
This unveiling leads up to our groundbreaking, scheduled for summer 2016. It marks another step in our collaborative approach to community healthcare—engaging both those who can help us create the best possible clinic, and those in the community who will come to call Mountain Park Tempe their new medical home.
Transitioning from our current 8,000 square-foot space located next to Tempe St. Luke’s hospital, our new clinic will allow us to help three times as many patients each year.
Music for Medicine is always a great time for a great cause, and we hope to see you at our next event this fall!
