New Medical Home Coming to Tempe Community

September 23, 2016 | /

Excitement was in the air at the Groundbreaking Ceremony for our new Tempe Clinic. The event was well attended by our Senior Leadership Team, Tempe Clinic staff, Mountain Park Board and Advisory Council Members and City of Tempe leaders and community stakeholders.

Our guests were treated to the sights and sounds of the construction crew working diligently to transform the old Skipper Buds boat showroom into Mountain Park’s next state-of-the-art medical facility. Attendees saw the blank canvass of our newest clinic and talked with our Senior Team and staff about the future of our new home. The event concluded with remarks from Becky O’Connell, the overall Project Manager from our construction company, and the traditional groundbreaking photograph.

Our new Tempe Clinic, over three times the size of our current location, will offer a greatly improved patient experience. In addition to 40 family-size exam rooms, the clinic will feature a children’s nook, a community room for meetings and small events, and a shaded outdoor walking path with special points of interest and local artwork. Environmentally friendly practices are also important to us, and our new clinic will feature shade trees, storm water reuse and natural light throughout the building.

We encourage you to check out the photos from our Groundbreaking Ceremony on our Facebook page.
