The need for quality healthcare in Arizona is constantly growing. In 2015 alone, Mountain Park Health Center cared for over 70,000 patients. To better meet this need, we’re preparing to expand our presence in Tempe. Mountain Park recently purchased a 35,000-square foot building located on the northeast corner of Broadway and McClintock. We will be transforming this space, which used to be a boat yard and showroom, into our second-largest clinic. This new clinic will be three times as large as the current Tempe clinic, allowing us to greatly increase the number of patients we can see there.
The official groundbreaking for the new clinic will be this summer, and we plan to move in and begin seeing patients in 2017. The clinic will offer Family Medicine and Women’s Health, with the possibility of expanding and offering even more services to our community in the future.
Like our other clinics, our new Tempe location will offer whole-patient, integrated care to include physicians and nurse practitioners, registered dietitians, behavioral health consultants and other friendly care team members our patients have come to love. The facility will be bright and welcoming, similar to our recently-transformed Gateway Clinic.
Unlike your average doctor’s office, our clinic will have a children’s nook, large, family-size exam rooms, a community room for meetings and small events, and a shaded outdoor walking track with designated points of interest. We will incorporate environmentally friendly features such as shade trees, storm water reuse and natural light throughout the building.
