Feeding Children During the Summer Months

Did you know that more than 400,000 Arizona children face hunger and food insecurity daily? While a child’s nutritional needs are often met during the school year, that isn’t always the case during the summer months. This is why Mountain Park continues to partner with St. Mary's Food Bank to make sure the children in our communities have access to nutritious meals. We are excited to be hosting this program at four of our clinics this summer.

As a community health center, we focus on whole patient health. It’s important to us that the children we see do not spend their summer days skipping meals. By providing lunch at our four clinics, and breakfast at one clinic, stress levels for our families decrease and parents can focus on making summer memories with their children.

From May 28 to July 26, children under the age of 18 can get a meal at any one of our participating clinics. You don't have to be a Mountain Park patient to be eligible for a free meal.

Meals are served five days a week at our Maryvale Clinic from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Goodyear  Clinic from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., and at our Tempe and Baseline clinics from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
